Osteopathic Care, Treatment and Diagnostics
We are professionals in musculoskeletal health.
What is Osteopathy at Joint Commitment?
Osteopathy is a statutorily regulated allied healthcare profession and is recognised around the world and in medical research as an effective means of treatment for many conditions affecting the joints, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
Practitioners hold a minimum of a first class degree in osteopathic medicine, and their extensive clinical experience, along with additional specialised training, enables them to competently assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. This spectrum includes everything from minor muscle strains, to intricate problems such as disc herniation and nerve impingement.
Furthermore, qualified practitioners are authorised to refer patients to general practitioners within the NHS as well as for private MRI scans when deemed necessary. In our steadfast dedication to delivering high quality clinical care, we also provide advanced ultrasound imaging capabilities.
In specific cases, this imaging may be employed alongside detailed hands on evaluations to yield more comprehensive insights and enhanced accuracy when addressing your presenting issue or condition. This essential service is incorporated into both your initial appointment and any subsequent follow up visits that may be required during your treatment journey.
